Meghan Markle Denies Rumors of Filming Cooking Show on Cannabis Farm.

Meghan Markle is set to launch a new cooking show on Netflix, but rumours have been circulating that the series is being filmed on a cannabis farm - something the Duchess of Sussex has now denied.

Meghan Markle has quashed rumours that her upcoming Netflix cooking show is filmed on a cannabis farm.

The Duchess of Sussex, who has been busy preparing for the launch of her latest project with the streaming giant, aims to "celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship".

When the news first broke, many fans of Meghan were hopeful they'd finally get a peek into her Montecito mansion, which she shares with husband Prince Harry and their two children, four-year-old Prince Archie and two-year-old Princess Lilibet.

However, these hopes were quickly dashed when it was revealed the project would be filmed elsewhere, reports OK!.

Initially, the MailOnline reported that Meghan and the production team had chosen two locations - a different mansion in Montecito owned by philanthropists Tom and Sherrie Cipolla, and a cannabis farm located in the nearby seaside city of Carpinteria, owned by the Van Wingerden family. The latter is reportedly the largest cannabis farm in the state.

However, Meghan has now put these rumours to rest, after a source close to the duchess spoke to the Mirror about the misunderstanding. They stated: "The filming location is not shot on a farm, but at a residence, and I can confirm that there are no cannabis plants anywhere near the filming location."

Earlier this year, it was announced that the former Suits actress would be venturing into new territory with her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. The duchess has already made waves on social media, launching an Instagram account for the brand which quickly amassed over 617K followers.

Additionally, Meghan has unveiled the brand's website, inviting fans to sign up to a waitlist for a taste of her curated lifestyle offerings.
